About: It is one of the stunning historic buildings built in honor of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II by his son. The building was built in 1899. The Jaswant Thada building is carved with white marble lattice screens and an array of whimsical domes, while the inside area is adorned with Rathore ruler’s portraits. 7. Seek Blessing at Santoshi Mata Temple

About: Santoshi Mata Temple is near Mandore in Lal Sagar. Santoshi Mata is the main deity of the temple. The goddess is worshipped across India and especially on Friday as it is believed to be the fruitful day to worship santoshi mata on this day.

8. Go For Bird Watching at Khichan

About: Khichan is a small village for bird watching in the Thar Desert and it is 100 km away from Jodhpur. It has a unique story of conservation which was started by Mr.Ratan Lal Maloo also known as the bird man of Khichan. He started off this journey by feeding Pigeons, Sparrows, Peacocks, and Palm Squirrels. In 1970, one day a small number of migratory Demoiselle Cranes came to the place. After that, now every year 12000 to 15000 Demoiselle Cranes visit this small village of Khichana. The place is declared a bird sanctuary by the government.

About: Marwar festival is celebrated every year in Rajasthan in Memory of Heroes. Maewar festival of Jodhpur was earlier known by the name Maand Festival. It is observed during the Ashwin month. Ashwin is a Hindu month and the festival is celebrated in September-October during the full moon of Sharad Purnima. It is a two-day festival. The main center of attraction of this festival is the romantic lifestyle of the Rajasthan rulers. The Marwar region’s music and dance is the main theme of this Marwar festival. To provide lively entertainment, folk dancers and singers came to this place. 

Among the other attractions of this Marwar festival, is the Mr. & Miss Marwar Competition and the camel tattoo show are the major attractions. Mehrangarh Fort, Clock Tower, Mandore Garden, Govt. Umed Stadium and Osian Dunes are the venues of this festival.
